70th Birthday – forum gallery stitching card of the week

This weeks card is called 70th Birthday card and was made by Jasu. This gorgeous card was made using Pinbroidery number patterns.

Jasu said “I stitched the pattern on pale yellow coloured card, with gold metallic and green/orange silk threads finished it with orange bead and bow. I then mounted it on to orange and pale yellow coloured cards.”

    these numbers are so great–everytime they are done they turn out great. I tried to think of a manly theme with them–not usint the vine. I didnt think of one but I was given the idea of just the number–nothing else. Seems to work for the man u stitch for/
    I also liked the fall colors — it jumped right out at u. cathy

    Another lovely surprise David, so pleased you chose my card for ‘Card of the week’ once again… thank you!

    I love the ‘numbers’ designs very much. The vine helps to give 3d effect to the numbers. I haven’t stitched the numbers on it’s own yet. I think that stitching the numbers on there own for manly cards would be to combine decoupage and stitching.
