I have stitched the basket using gold thread and another time using a variegated brown/cream thread, both were very effective. I have also used 4/5 pink beads for the flowers and another time cut the flowers from a sticky ribbon strip. Just variations on a theme which looked good. This one is an old favourite of mine.
