Flamingo thank you – forum gallery stitching card of the week

Tuesday 16 September 2008

Flamingo Thank YouThis week’s card is “Flamingo Thank You” made by Tojennymom.

It was made using the Stitching Cards flamingo bookmark pattern. I love the use of orange and green rectangles beautifully complimented with the yellow quarter circle representing the sun with stitched rays. The Thank You message is also stitched.

It was posted in the Stitching Cards forum gallery.

What a good idea, I wouldn’t have thought of using a bookmark pattern for a card. I have 2 good excuses, I’m getting old, and I am male…

I think my corner scroll pattern might lend itself to a bookmark if you use just one side of it, Jan. You will find it under the “Free patterns” category.
