Tin Anniversary – forum gallery stitching card of the week

Thursday 13 August 2009

This weeks card is called 10th (Tin) Anniversary and was made by Patsy. This novel tin was decorated with a card made using the Pinbroidery number patterns.

The stitched 10th Card is stuck on to the lid.

Patsy said “I made this for my daughter’s 10th wedding anniversary. The stitched 10th Card is stuck on to the lid of a ‘Scrapbook in a tin’. The tin contains a concertina like card with 10 sides! I used a reading from their wedding; ‘Love is patient, love is kind….’ running through the pages accompanied by photos of children and themselves”.

What a lovely idea, i’ve been shown how to make a folded memory card/book, may use this to do a memory book of my Daughters 21st, have been looking for a special photo album, so this will be different, hope you don’t mind me borrowing your idea,

No Lin I would be charmed if you used this idea. My daughter and Husband loved the whole idea. Patsy xx
