Since a new Baptism/Christening prick and stitch pattern has been released on the Stitching Cards web site, I thought it would be a good idea to offer some suggestions for words to go on your greetings card.

The Beer Glasses design from the Stitching Cards web site is proving very popular so I thought it would be a bit of fun to find a drinking song to go with it. You could add the words on an insert to your card.
The song “Beer, Beer, Beer” originated as a sea shanty on Royal Navy sailing ships. The sailors settled in various countries and versions of the song are sung in Australia, Ireland, the United Kingdom and the United States…

A new website called Pinbroidery is offering two free card stitching patterns. There is a pattern called Flower Corners which features the words Happy Birthday surrounded by a beautiful square border. This versatile pattern could also be use for many other occasions by leaving off the words and adding something else…
