I use Scotch Magic tape from a refillable dispenser, it also tears easily if I have cut too much off on the dispenser!

I use double sided tape, it also helps stick the stitched pattern to the card.

I use masking tape with 'hammered' card stock and scotch for 'smooth n pearlescent' card stock. I use to cut a small amount of tape before hand too, but now I have brought tape dispenser, which is so much convenient and easier to use and also no waste!

I also use scotch invisible tape as I find it lies flatter on the back than if using sellotape which can "ruck" easily.
