Bookmarks as cards as bookmarks – forum gallery stitching card of the week

This week’s card is called Bookmarks as cards as bookmarks and was made by FionaB. This good-looking card was made using Stitching Cards Value Pack No. 22: Bookmark Flowers Patterns.

FionaB said: “These were designed as bookmarks but I am sending them as open cards with strips of double-sided self-adhesive tape on the inside and an instruction to remove the backing tape, seal and use as a bookmark afterwards.”

Happy 21st Birthday – forum gallery stitching card of the week

This week’s card is called Happy 21st Birthday and was made by Nette. This eye-catching card was made using the Stitching Cards Helicopter with Cake pattern.

Sequins are used to add colour and sparkle to the helicopter’s eye and tail plus the candle flames.

Birthday Card for step dad – forum gallery stitching card of the week

Littlepossum said: “I joined these two patterns together to make a nicer card for my step dad. I used various metallic threads and added peel offs to finish the card off.”

Jasu said: “It was stitched on cream coloured cards with plain green, black and variegated silk threads, and then mounted onto textured green card. I used black beads for the musical note & red beads for berries and peel offs for the frame.”
